Cowes Week 2009 - Skippered Yacht and Power Boat Charter
About Cowes Week
Cowes Week is the largest annual sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon, with almost 1,000 yachts and 8,000 competitors taking part. The eight-day event, which has been running since 1826, is great for sailors and visitors alike, with an exciting racing schedule afloat and a packed social programme on shore throughout the Week. If you're not taking part, a visit to Cowes during the regatta is a must with it's great selection of specialist shops, excellent line-up of live bands, superb choice of cuisine and carnival-like atmosphere - plus one of the best sailing spectacles in the entire world viewed from the fly bridge of one of our luxury skippered yachts!
What to expect
Cowes Week offers a wealth of shoreside entertainment and things to do throughout the day. Cowes Week offers a huge range of shoreside activities for sailors and visitors alike. Unlike some events that are ring-fenced into one huge location and where the entry ticket buys all, Cowes is a town with many separate privately owned premises and businesses. These offer a unique variety of places to drink, eat, relax, party and be entertained - truly something for all.
Charter your boat now!
